🕌 Abu Shaybah Tomb

It is known that Abu Shaybah was one of the Companions of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) who took part in the campaign for the conquest of Istanbul. He was martyred in the Ayvansaray area.

🌺 His tomb is located inside the Toklu Ibrahim Dede Cemetery, which lies between the city walls at the end of Toklu Dede Street in Fatih, Ayvansaray. Historical records indicate that more than a thousand Companions are buried in this sacred site.

🚞🚉 Right next to the tomb is the Hz. Kaab Mosque. There is a parking area available. You can reach the site by tram from Eminönü or Alibeyköy, or by taking any bus to Eyüp and getting off at Feshane Station. If you prefer the Metrobus, get off at Ayvansaray Station and walk a short distance.
